Tehran, YJC. Commander of Basij says those who are against the Down With USA slogan might go the way of the late Shah.

"Every writer with a pen but lacking the power to move it for the Holy War literature is missing something,” asserted Brigadier General Mohammadreza Naqdi.

Speaking in the sidelines of the fourth National Holy War Book Fair, he said "Those who try to deprive our people of the Down With USA slogan must take lesson from the overthrown Shah.”

"While we were surrounded from all sides under the worst situations, and were under sanctions and bombs and missiles, we taught all with our bare hands how to stand and win. Today it is time once again to show we are real students to the school of martyrs. So if the whole world gather round to divert us from the right path, we will not back down one step,” the Commander of Basij said, according to Mehr News Agency.

Naqdi exclaimed "Today a bunch of extremist hirelings have got so far as to insult the Iranian nation. They lie and they deceive them to abandon their slogan wishing death for America. Them who try to deprive our people of down with USA must take lesson from the Shah’s fate. This was experienced during the Pahlavi. He tried to lead people where they did not oppose arrogance. But he failed.”
