South Pars gas refinement to increase 25 million m3

Tehran, YJC. Minister says the extraction and refinery of gas from South Pars is to increase this winter.
Speaking in interview with Fars news agency, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said regarding the South Pars gas field "The expansion of the phases of this field are of high priority for the oil industry. We hope that with good offices by the oil industry officials that will come true."

"In his visit to the South Pars, the president stressed the need to complete the development and to speed up the operation of the phases under construction," Zanganeh poined out.

Providing comments on the oil ministry's efforts to produce gas from phases 15 and 16, he said "This winter the capacity for the production and refinement of gas from the 15th phasse of the South Pars will increase to 25 million m3 per day."

The Oil Minister further stated that two sweetening lines for the 15th and 16th phases have been allocated from the soure gas taken out of phases 6 through 8.

"This year the capacity of the South Pars gas refinement will increase 25 million m3 by using gas from other phases, which is an important fact," he maintained.
