French entrepreneurs due in Tehran early February

Tehran, YJC. MEDEF members will visit Iran early February to discuss ways to start commerce in different sections.

Iran Mining Industry Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) is going to host a delegation from France’s biggest employers union Mouvement des Entreprises de France early February, Mehr News Agency reports.

MEDEF Vice President and Director General Thierry Courtiagne who was visiting, along with representatives from the French Embassy in Tehran, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMIDRO said "On February 4 and 5, 2014, managers of the biggest French economic enterprises from all business sections will visit Iran, part of whom will be those active in mining and mine industries.”

He stated "On that occasion around 50 companies will offer their full capabilities to cooperate with the Iranian sides. We hope that Iranian companies will also come forth the same.”

Courtiagne asserted that in the past one week, 30 French companies have signed up to join the delegation visiting Tehran.

"We would like to get back to our old relations with Iran,” he maintained, further adding "What we have done so far for the French delegation to make its trip to Tehran includes meetings with the French Ambassador to Tehran, a number of French entrepreneurs, as well as the Head of the two countries’ joint chamber.”

He also praised attempts by the Iranian Ambassador to France, Ali Ahani, as helpful in strengthening the two countries’ economic relations.
