Last Tuesday the Syrian terrorist group Daesh published a video that shows them playing football but with the heads of their Shiite victims as the ball, Fars news agency reports.
The terrorist groups in Syria, most of all Daesh and al-Nusrah Front, have had so much anti-humanitarian behavior toward ethnic and religious minorities in the past few months that even the US and other Western countries have listed them as terrorist. This comes despite the fact that no more than 3 years ago, these groups gained power through generous support from the West and countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
As these terrorist groups came to the fore, more moderate Syrian opposition parties were entirely driven to the corner, so much so that last week Reuters claimed that the West might change its stance and stated that Western countries would prefer Bashar Assad to groups such as Daesh. That is why the Geneva II meeting on Syria is not likely to end in a change of the Syrian ruling power.
