Head of Iran’s Islamic Development Organization Mehdi Khamooshi met the Indonesian Antara news agency’s Managing Director M. Saiful Hadi on Sunday.
"If you walk around the city asking people if they are afraid of the US, nobody would say they do. This has to do with Imam Khomeini’s culture when in the early days of the revolution he said that the US cannot do a damn,” stated Khamooshi.
"We are sure that we will pass through the economic siege and the sanctions; and that the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon thrive by its own power. It will be soon when a new power named Iran will come to the stage to encounter world powers,” he added.
Seiful Hadi in return said "One of the problems that Indonesia faces as the worlds most populated Muslim country is 15 percent Christian, Buddhist, and Hindo which are sometimes used as tools to launch radical actions.”
