Fuel export by border residents to be sanctioned soon

TEHRAN, YJC. Sistan province lawmaker has said that legal export of fuel by Hirmand and Saravan citizens will be operational in two weeks.

Seyyed Bagher Hosseini said today "Due to the prevailing inflation, it is a security policy to enable people to make their livings. Accordingly with an administrative decree by the Government and the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis, and with good offices of the Governor-general to warrant livelihood for the people of the area and prevent fuel smuggling, the legal export of fuel in Hirmand and Saravan counties will be operational and after that the project will expand over other border areas of Sistan and Baluchestan.”

He continued "Accordingly 500 liters fuel has been allocated to each family up to 5 members, and 1,000 liters to families more than 5 members.”

Hosseini added that the procedure for fuel export will be announced soon.
