Secretary of Iran’s Second National Lab Expo said that this year the exhibition showed good progress both in participation and in benefit.
Reza Asadi in interview with Tasnim said "In line with its policies to support companies the Science and Technology Department has subsidized part of the exhibition’s sale. Last year about 200 universities and research centers purchased more than Rls38 billion. This year there was some good growth where 196 companies presented 3,700 laboratory items which shows around 100 percent increase.”
"Different fields from bio to nanotech, chemistry, metallurgy, civil engineering, and agriculture use the equipment presented at the expo. If the trend does continue we will be presenting our products to the world,” he asserted.
Asadi further stated "Sales are not sealed here, but most of the time they are pre-ordered. We have an invoice of about Rls2000 billion, of which at least a third will be provided.”
Providing comments about lab equipment export he said "Some of the companies export their products. The Science Department offers facilities to the companies to boost export infrastructure which includes good industrial plans, help with acquiring international standards, good marketing systems and companies with specialty in marketing.”
