Not long after it flew the RQ170, the IRGC air force says it is building two new aircrafts of the same kind.
It was around two and a half years ago when Iran captured the US drone RQ170. Last week when it was testing the air craft, the IRGC called it the American nightmare.
Now the commander of the IRGC aearospace has said in an interview on the state TV that two new RQ170s are being made under his command.
Iran seems to have found the way to make the drones via reverse engineering.
Counding the Supreme Leader’s commands as the guidelines by which his forces found the way through making out how to rebuild the machine, Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the Supreme Leader’s words "are Divine command and have to be followed. Besides that, today we have got through sanctions and the enemy cannot do anything to us in military terms.”
"I have said many times that the air craft has brought with itself loads of achievements in the intelligence and technology sections. Reverse engineering is one of the projects. Let me say it frankly, what we did was a kind of a piss-off we gave them. That’s why we went after building the machine. Of course there have been other aircrafts as well which are quite something in their own right.”
