Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah Khamenei says the Islamic state is challenged from inside and out simultaneously.
Supreme Leader speaking on the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's departure said "We are dealing with outer and domestic challenges. Our outer challenge comes from the world arrogsnce, that is the US. Americans found out that military aproachers no longer work so they decided to relegate the job to domestic agents."
"Western intelligence services might report to higher authorities that they have quenched the Islamic awakening, but they are wrong. The tide will rise again," he asserted.
"Americans do that everywhere around the world, of which we can see examples. They may empower certain people for a coup. Or they may take masses to the street. Their hand was behind many a revolution. One of their tsctics is to rear terrorist groups," ayatollah Khamenei further mentioned.
He then said "Takfiri groups are no enemy. The real enemy is the ones who stir them and give them money. There is the hidden hand of intelligence services. Takfiri groups are a simple people, we know them to have been fooled. We must not get into disagreement. Disagreement should not derail us."
