TEHRAN, YJC. Majlis Speaker has blasted the West on nuclear talks, saying that while 5+1 assesses talks as constructive, the IAEA Director General and EU speak harshly.
Ali Larijani said "The West has no doubts that Iran does not have nuclear weapons. But why is it that they have set the nuclear weapons issue as the focal point? They lie.”
"They believe that this is the developed countries that should possess technology. This is them who say where other countries must get their technologies. Another thing they say is that if independent countries like Iran advance, the balance of power is lost,” Larijani added.
The Majlis Speaker asserted "The 5+1 say that talks have had positive outcomes. But on the other hand the IAEA Director General and the EU say harsh words against Iran.”
Larijani stated that the West must not abuse Iran’s good manners.
