Tehran, YJC. Military official has refuted allegations that Iran and the US are going to cooperate in dealing with current situations in Iraq.

Speaking in the sidelines of a meeting, Brigadier General Hassan Firouzabadi said in answer to a question requiring whether as allegations say Iran and the US will perform any joint task in dealing with recent invasions in Iraq "A cooperation between Iran and the US is never to happen. It would make no sense. Daesh itself is Clinton’s baby.”

"The US gathered some countries around under the name Friends of Syria. It gathered some money and lay grounds to drag the Takfiri to the area. They planned things so as to draw Takfiris from various countries and to give them up to the Iraqi Baath commanders,” Head of Iran’s General Staff of Armed Forces asserted.

He further stated "Daesh was an Israeli-American plan to create a secure margin for the Zionist against the resistance force. Their recent move was in fact a reaction to the victory of Bashar Assad in Syria’s elections as well as the vast participation by the Syrian people; no less the victory of the Iraqi revolutionary who gathered the most votes.”
