TEHRAN, Dec 15_Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has called on fellow member states of the Bolivarian Alliance or ALBA-TCP to join hands against the interventionist policies of the United States.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club(YJC)_Speaking at the XVII ALBA-TCP Summit inauguration, in Havana, on December 14, Rodriguez described Washington as the main threat to peace in Latin America and the Caribbean.
He slammed what he called the US-backed coup against the government of President Evo Morales in Bolivia.
The Cuban foreign minister also condemned the threat of use of force by the American administration against Venezuela.
The US has a history of launching coups and interventions in Latin American countries. Last month, Morales was forced to resign and flee to Mexico after the country’s armed forces turned against him. He has accused Washington of orchestrating a coup.
