Saturday , 3 July 2021 (YJC) _The Iranian president in the National Headquarters of Administrating COVID-19 said: "Only 69% of the health instructions in the country are observed, which is not acceptable."
Rouhani said: "Today we are in a special situation in Corona Pandemic and our situation is different from the past”.
He continued: "Unfortunately, these days we had issues that aggravated the situation of Covid-19 in the country; According to the reports we received, in the local elections, gatherings did not comply with health instructions; In addition, summer travels also worsen the situation.”
The President stated: "Everyone knows that we have encountered a virus that, with each passing day, a new variant emerges; The virus increases the risk of infection through genetic modification.” One of the characteristics of the corona virus is its greater transmission in mutant variants.
Rouhani continued: "All over the world, when they used the vaccine, they were able to control a significant amount of this disease. The vaccination situation in the country will improve day by day and better things will happen in the future.”
He added: "Pandemic situation has become acute in some southern provinces, there is concern in the whole country that we will be on the path of the fifth wave; Unfortunately, today 69% of health instructions are followed and this amount is not acceptable. We should have followed more than 90% of the health guidelines, but now the guidelines have reached 69%; we are currently facing 92 red cities and we ask the governors and law enforcement forces to act according to the color of the city”.
Rouhani said: "We hope that people will think about summer trips this year and delay their trips and refrain from gathering in shopping malls, so that we can control this kind of mutated virus of India."
