Amir Hatami: Iran-Venezuela relations are strategic, deep and fraternalThis morning, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 13th President, Minister of Defense Amir Hatami, as Chairman of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation with Venezuela, met with his counterpart Ricardo Menendez Pirito, Vice President of Venezuela.
In this meeting, Amir Hatami pointed to the strong political will of high-ranking officials of the two countries to develop cooperation and achieve a bright horizon to deepen the future relations between the two countries.
Stating that Iran-Venezuela relations are a deep and fraternal strategic relationship, he stressed the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation and the efforts of both countries to reach an agreement between the two countries.
The Vice President of Venezuela also stated in the meeting that the relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are of special priority and importance for Venezuela, adding: "We are very pleased that the relations between the two countries have been developing in recent years and we hope these relations will be developed day by day."
