Monday, 6 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the military coup in Guinea and the arrest of the president, stressing that Ankara stands by its friend and brother country.
The Turkish government has condemned a military coup in the African country of Guinea.
According to Anatoly, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu condemned the coup and the arrest of President "Alpha Condé", saying that he was following developments in Guinea with concern.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Ankara opposes any illegal move to oust the Guinean government.
The statement added that Turkey is standing by its friend and brother Guinea at this critical time.
