Wednesday, 15 September 2021 (YJC)_ A Taliban spokesman has denied reports that Taliban forces have committed war crimes against humanity in Afghanistan.

The Taliban have denied human rights reports against the groupTaliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid denied allegations by Human Rights Watch (HRW) that the group had committed war crimes against humanity.

Mujahid called on the International Human Rights Organization not to fall into the trap of enemy propaganda and to be aware of the facts on the ground before publishing this report.

Human Rights Watch has accused Taliban forces of seeking revenge against the army, journalists and social activists of the previous Afghan government.

International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan also said the Taliban had committed crimes against humanity in Afghanistan, calling them against international norms.

However, Zabihullah Mujahid denied the allegations, saying the report was based on baseless allegations.
