Friday, 24 September 2021 (YJC)_ As famine spread to various parts of Yemen, two organizations complained to French customs about the details of French arms sales to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

Complaints from Paris over arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAETwo NGOs have stated that they have filed a lawsuit in a Paris court seeking details of the weapons sold to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Amnesty International's representative office in France and the European Center for Fundamental Rights and Human Rights said in a statement on Thursday evening that French customs had refused to release documents related to arms deals related to the Yemeni war, according to a report Thursday evening on Monte Carlo Radio.

Following the rejection of this request, the two organizations filed a complaint in this regard and submitted it to the Paris court.

According to the report, the two organizations expressed concern about the use of French weapons in the Yemeni war, noting that the Disclosure Research Company was also one of the complainants, as stated in part in the statement: Lack of transparency is a major obstacle to parliamentary, judicial and democratic oversight of France's arms exports.

Al-Khaleej Online also reported that the statement warned of the significant dangers of using French weapons in violation of human rights against Yemeni civilians.
