Tuesday, 12 October 2021 (YJC)_ At a meeting of the government's economic coordination headquarters, the president stressed the need to prepare a comprehensive plan for the country's energy needs.

President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi stressed the need to prepare a comprehensive plan for the country's energy needs.
Raeisi also reminded of the necessity of managing the production, supply and consumption of electricity in the country, maximum use of domestic power for the construction of power plants and forecasts for the supply of winter fuel to power plants.
At today's meeting of the government's economic coordination headquarters, the Ministry of Energy presented its plan for managing electricity supply and demand.
The program includes various chapters, including the importance of stabilizing and securing electricity supply, improving the business environment in the power generation sector, and focusing on network management and electricity transit, renewable energy development, and the modernization of the electricity industry.
