Thursday, 14 October 2021 (YJC)_ The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament emphasized: "There is a very realistic understanding of the issue of the Caucasus and the Republic of Azerbaijan among the relevant institutions in the institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
"Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini," the spokesman of the National Security Commission, referring to the meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament, said:
Yesterday, a joint meeting was held with members of the Northwestern House of Representatives, including Ali Nikzad, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, a number of members of the National Security Commission, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims, Ajaqunjad, representative of the Supreme Leader in Azerbaijan, and Seyed Abbas Mousavi, Iranian Ambassador to Baku. Also, a number of officials and experts of the Ministry of Intelligence were held to discuss the developments in the Caucasus.
He continued:
Also, a number of experts with a history of the embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan were invited to attend the meeting, including the "judicial unit" with a history of the Iranian embassy in Baku.
The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament stated that the developments in the Caucasus were discussed in great detail at the meeting:
Fortunately, there is a very realistic understanding of the developments in the Caucasus and the Republic of Azerbaijan between the relevant institutions in the institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This realistic understanding, calculation and analysis of the situation in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the developments in the Caucasus provide a clear vision for the future of the region and the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with its neighbors, especially the Republic of Azerbaijan.
