During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, the US Special Representative for Iran met with senior UAE officials to discuss various issues, including Iran's nuclear program in the region.
The US Embassy in the United Arab Emirates wrote on its Twitter page:
US Special Representative for Iran Robert Malley and Daniel Benayem, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula, and Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE National Security Adviser, and Anwar Gargash, UAE Adviser, met to discuss our shared commitment to diplomatic solutions. They discussed security challenges in the region, including Iran's nuclear activities.
