Mr. Mardov will meet with our Minister of Petroleum, as well as other ministers and the President. Simultaneously with our talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a joint commission for cooperation between the two countries was held in Tehran and talks are continuing in the relevant ministries.

Amir-Abdollahian pointed out:
Today we agreed to review the document of joint cooperation between the two countries. So far, more than one hundred official documents have been signed between the two countries in various fields, and our agreement on signing a comprehensive document of cooperation and increasing the volume of trade between the two countries to the maximum possible.

The Foreign Minister added:
We are glad that today was an opportunity to talk about all issues for about 2 hours. We agreed to reopen the transit route for truckers of the two countries from four border points, considering the passage of the peak of the Corona crisis and the vaccination of all truck transit drivers in the two countries.

The head of the diplomatic service said:
Basic agreements were reached between us on provincial cooperation and cooperation in the field of electricity, water and in all areas of mutual interest. We import electricity from Turkmenistan through Sarakhs and Gonbad, and we agreed to cooperate and sign a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of a third line at the level of energy and energy ministers. The document of friendship between the two countries on the Sarakhs border and in the field of water cooperation was one of the topics discussed.
