Tuesday, 26 October 2021 (YJC)_ The President of Kyrgyzstan announced the strengthening of banking and trade cooperation between "Tehran and Bishkek".

Kyrgyzstan prepares to strengthen banking and trade cooperation with TehranAt a press conference with local and foreign media in Bishkek, Kyrgyz President Sadir Jabarov announced his readiness to answer Kyrgyzstan's banking cooperation with Iran and the use of land in Bandar Abbas.

Asked by a Fars correspondent in Bishkek about bilateral relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan and the two countries' banking problems, the Kyrgyz president said at his annual press conference:
Kyrgyzstan is ready to cooperate and strengthen relations with all countries of the world, including Iran.

The representative of the Ministry of Finance in Kyrgyzstan also referred to the international sanctions against Iran and said:
We have a banking law according to which we are subject to international order. It is international sanctions that are the main obstacle to closer relations between the two countries in this regard.

On how Kyrgyzstan uses the allotted land in Bandar Abbas, Jabaraf said:
To access Kyrgyzstan, it is necessary to implement the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway corridor, which will connect the countries in the future. God willing, the construction of this railway will provide Kyrgyzstan with access to the sea and will benefit the country, and it will open good opportunities for the development of the country's trade and economy.

It is recalled that after the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Dushanbe, Iran decided to allocate land in Bandar Abbas to Kyrgyzstan.
