Saturday, 6 November 2021 (YJC)_ A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the parliament said about the IRGC's authoritative action in retrieving Iranian oil from the United States: Iran's naval power is a matter of concern to the United States, and the presence of the army and the Revolutionary Guards in these areas constitutes security.
Shahriyar Heydari, Qasr Shirin's representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Borna about the recent and authoritative action of the Revolutionary Guards in defeating the United States in the waters of Oman:
This action by the United States is a violation of maritime law in the high seas, and is a clear violation of the laws and regulations governing the seas, which have been accepted by all countries under Convention 82. In this regard, several issues should be considered. First, the Revolutionary Guards as an institution providing security in the Persian Gulf and the army of the Islamic Republic in the Oman Sea and open waters, has a powerful position and have dealt with this phenomenon. At this stage, the IRGC, and in the previous stages of military maneuvers in the farthest naval parts of the world, has worried the United States.
He added:
Iran's naval power worries the United States; The presence of the army and the IRGC in these areas constitutes security, and because we have a role to play in creating lasting security in the region, and the US philosophy is to disrupt the region, the United States can plunder the region in the shadow of disorder and use it as an excuse. It occurs in the countries bordering the Persian Gulf. When we put these issues together, there are two outcomes, one is Iran's powerful presence in the open waters and the region, and the other is Iran's superior power in the Persian Gulf.
Heidari pointed out:
Countries in the region that have led to a greater US presence in the region should reconsider their diplomatic behavior, as this US move is provocative and will affect all countries if tensions or conflicts arise. Not every country can engage with the United States, but the Islamic Republic of Iran, because of its high morale and faith in military forces in the face of US threats, has created a superior balance in the region in Iran's favor. While the American fleet is strong and not every country is able to deal with it, but Iran and the Revolutionary Guards are able to deal with it, and wherever there is success with Iran, a strong achievement has been achieved for the power and authority of the Islamic Republic. Thanks to the loved ones of the IRGC. These cases have made the United States realize the power and defense power of the Islamic Republic, and this is a source of pride for the country and the nation.
