Sunday, 14 November 2021 (YJC)_ According to media reports, an Ariana News Afghanistan TV reporter was killed in an explosion in Kabul yesterday. The Afghanistan Journalists' Center has also confirmed this.

Journalist killed in Kabul blastThe Afghanistan Center for Journalists has confirmed that Hamid Sighani, an Ariana News correspondent, was killed in an explosion in the afternoon (Saturday, November 13) in western Kabul.

Hamid Sighani, the wife of Fauzia Vahdat, was the host of Ariannews TV news and political programs. Ariannews TV has not said anything about this so far.

A Tunisian car exploded in the western part of Kabul today. The Taliban attributed the blast to a car fire, but eyewitnesses said the explosives had already been planted in the car.

The Taliban also said one person was killed and two others were injured in the incident, but eyewitnesses said the death toll was high. Another victim of the incident is Habibaullah Yousefi. Yousefi has been an employee of the Electronic Identity Distribution Office.
