Sunday, 21 November 2021 (YJC)_ General Tangsiri said: "We have slapped the Americans for the number of martyrs of the IRGC navy in a direct battle with the United States in the Persian Gulf, although the news of many Iranian-American conflicts in the Persian Gulf has not been published."
Admiral Tangsiri, Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, participated in the seventh session of the National Congress of Student Basij, which was held at the 13 Aban Cultural Complex (formerly the spy nest).
Young people should know the importance of the Persian Gulf and that our country has important resources and capacities in the Persian Gulf and has a very high geographical importance.
He continued:
Of course, the same importance has made the Americans greedy for the vast resources of this region and always come to the Persian Gulf with great costs and hardships.
The commander of the IRGC navy stated:
Since its establishment, the IRGC Navy has been able to protect the resources and interests of the Islamic Republic in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, alongside the zealous comrades of the Army Navy.
Sardar Tangsiri added:
We in the IRGC Navy have sacrificed 9 martyrs in direct battles with the Americans to defend the territory of our beloved country in the Persian Gulf. Of course, in the conflicts we had with the Americans, some of them have not been covered by the media for some reason. For 9 martyrs sacrificed in a direct battle with the Americans, we were able to give them 9 memorable slaps, thanks to God Almighty, and today they have realized the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic in the maritime arena.
