Monday, 22 November 2021 (YJC)_ The former Mossad chief said that the US-Iran agreement to revive the JCPOA was impossible, and that Tel Aviv would not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear nuclear capability.

Former Mossad chief: It is not possible to reach an agreement with IranYossi Cohen, the former head of the Israeli spy agency (Mossad), claimed that Iran has been enriching more uranium since the withdrawal of the United States from the 2018 nuclear deal.

In an interview with Haaretz on Sunday, Cohen claimed that a number of his predecessors had criticized the former Israeli cabinet for trying to persuade Washington to pull out of the deal.
We showed the Americans and the world that Iran was lying until the end of the agreement. Iran did not clarify many of the issues that were hidden from the world.

He reiterated his claim that Mossad operations inside Iran were carried out during his time in the organization, saying:
You can damage their abilities and reduce it. According to foreign media reports, all we did in Iran was to maintain a sufficient distance in terms of ability.

The former head of the Zionist regime's spy agency accused Iranian government officials of having intentions that could not be changed by Mossad's covert activities:
I doubt that an agreement will be reached on the talks that are going to start in Vienna.

Cohen described the Vienna talks as "a very emotional move" with little chance of real success.

Despite the assessment of some former senior Zionist officials that it is too late to prevent Iran from becoming a country on the verge of nuclear power, Cohen claimed:
It's never too late. We have to come to terms with the idea that Israel will never allow the Iranians to have a military nuclear capability.
