Friday, 17 December 2021 (YJC)_ The head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna talks tweeted about the meetings on Thursday and described them as useful.
Russia's representative to Vienna-based international body Mikhail Ulyanov tweeted Thursday evening about the lifting of sanctions talks in Vienna.
Ulyanov wrote in a Twitter message:
Representatives of Russia, China and Iran met again today. This tripartite format has proven to be very useful in the context of the Vienna talks with the JCPOA axis.
The head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna talks wrote in another message:
Today, the parties to the JCPOA (except Iran) met in an informal meeting to discuss a number of issues on which they do not necessarily have consistent views. This [meeting] was a useful exchange of views.
