Sunday, 19 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on the sidelines of the 17th emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.

The 17th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held this morning (Sunday) in the National Assembly of Pakistan in the city of Islamabad.

According to the Pakistani Foreign Minister, the purpose of holding this meeting is to pay special attention to the issue of Afghanistan and prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in this country.
