Wednesday, 5 January 2022 (YJC)_ Al-Hashd al-Shabi, Iraq, is hosting a conference today to mark the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hajj Qasim and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, with the participation of senior Iraqi political figures and figures.
This morning (Wednesday, January 5), the official commemoration ceremony on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the commanders of the victory over ISIS in Baghdad was attended by President Barham Saleh, Faleh al-Fayadh, head of al-Hashd al-Shabi, and Abdul Aziz al-Muhammadawi, head of al-Hashd al-Shabi headquarters. Interior Minister Osman al-Ghanimi, Defense Minister Juma Anad, Judge Faeq Zidan, chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, and a number of other political officials and commanders of al-Hashd al-Shabi were held at the al-Mansour conference hall. The conference was organized by Al-Hashd Al-Shabi.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Iraqi President Barham Saleh said:
We are gathered today to pay tribute to the great victorious leaders who confronted the terrorist ISIS.
