Tuesday, 22 February 2022 (YJC)_ The ambassadors and permanent representatives of Germany and India in Vienna met with the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Iranian Foreign Ministry to agree on the need to pave the way for new economic agreements.

Safari consultations with German and Indian ambassadors in Vienna on the development of economic relationsOn the sidelines of the lifting of sanctions in Vienna, yesterday evening (Monday), Mehdi Safari, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is in Austria, met with ambassadors and permanent representatives of Germany and India. They discussed the expansion and strengthening of bilateral economic relations in various economic fields, including oil, banking, port affairs and corporate economics.

In this meeting, the two sides, while emphasizing the need to prepare for the preparation and conclusion of new economic agreements, agreed to continue their consultations in this field and pave the way for the promotion of bilateral economic relations.

It is worth mentioning that the Deputy Minister of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently said that strengthening trade relations with all regions of the world is on the serious agenda of this ministry.
