Tuesday, 8 March 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the recruitment of terrorists from northern Syria to be sent to Ukraine, the Syrian foreign minister said that Moscow would achieve the goals of its military operation.

Faisal Mekdad: Terrorists are being sent to Ukraine from northern SyriaSyrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mekdad spoke to Al-Mayadin News Network on Monday evening and stressed that the country has stood and won the war on terror.

"Tel Aviv should know that Syria will definitely respond to the regime's attacks," Mekdad said.
Syria is able to respond to Israeli attacks, and it is up to Syria to respond.

He continued by pointing out that the Zionist regime's attack on Syria took place after the terrorist attack of ISIS:
Only after we liberate our land will we rest.

"The American occupiers are still in the northeast of the country," he said.
Were it not for Syria's resistance, the West would have dominated the whole world.

Mekdad also spoke about the Ukraine crisis, saying that many Arab countries welcome his return to the Arab League.
We stood by Russia; Because the Wild West is not capable of self-control.

Noting that the West supported terrorism in Syria and that the country therefore sided with Russia, he said that the European Union supported Nazism in Ukraine.

Faisal Mekdad, noting that terrorists are being recruited in northern Syria [for the Ukraine war], called Russia a great country that will achieve its goals in Ukraine.

In the end, the Syrian Foreign Minister praised Hezbollah and stressed that the Lebanese resistance is in the hearts of the Syrian people, noting:
We will be relieved only when the relations between the Arab countries and Iran are established. Iran is not the enemy of the Arabs.
