Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday morning reiterated his request to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The final compromise in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will be determined by an all-Ukrainian referendum. This concerns issues of security guarantees, the temporarily occupied territories of Denbas and Crimea.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Ukrainian nationalists would not allow civilians to leave the conflict zone, adding that Moscow opposed the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
