Gharibabadi Condemned Denmark’s Misbehavior towards Iranian National

Monday, 11 April 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Judiciary Deputy Chief protested at using violent force by the Denmark’s police against an Iranian national.

Gharibabadi Condemned Denmark’s Misbehavior towards Iranian NationalIn a letter to the Danish officials, Iranian Judiciary Deputy Chief and Secretary-General of Iran's Human Rights Headquarters Kazzem Gharibabadi protested at using violent force by the Denmark’s police against an Iranian national.

The letter addressed Danish Minister of Immigration and Integration Mattias Tesfaye and Iranian official protested at the violent and inhumane behavior of Danish police officials toward a female Iranian asylum seeker.

“Exertion of violence and inhumane behavior is vivid in the deportation of a female Iranian asylum seeker along with her two children and separation from her one-year-old child,” Gharibabadi said while emphasizing that mistreatment of the Danish police officials with a female Iranian asylum seeker violates Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 7 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

He went on to urge Danish Minister of Immigration and other responsible authorities of the country not to impose double standards on nationals and to compensate material and moral damages incurred to the Iranian female.

Danish immigration authorities on Tuesday tried to deport a 37-year-old Iranian woman and her two ten-year-old sons, back to Iran. Danish authorities rejected her political asylum application of and her two sons in 2017.
