Tuesday, 12 April 2022 (YJC)_ The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism announced the final decision on the temporary cancellation of Iranian visas from Qatar to facilitate the entry of spectators to the FIFA World Cup in today's meeting.
Ezatullah Zarghami said about the offer of Kish and Qeshm cities to host World Cup fans:
The Qatar World Cup is a good opportunity for spectators to visit Iran's free zones and visit the country's tourism potential.
Referring to the advantages of the southern islands of the country, the Minister of Cultural Heritage added:
Islands such as Kish and Qeshm have a comparative advantage due to their suitable infrastructure and proximity to the competition venue.
Zarghami stated:
The Free Zones Management Organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, is planning to welcome, accommodate and tourism Qatar World Cup fans; These plans are not dependent on Kish and Qeshm islands, but are planned for the rest of the country.

Regarding the legal processes, issues related to the temporary cancellation of Iranian visas of Qatari origin, especially in different cities, are being discussed in the meetings of the headquarters. In this regard, a meeting chaired by the first vice president and relevant ministers will be held today.
