Friday, 15 April 2022 (YJC)_ Announcing that resistance groups would soon hold a meeting in Lebanon, the deputy head of Hamas' political bureau said that the occupiers had sent a message to the Palestinian resistance through mediation; But the resistance does not trust them.

Hamas: The occupiers sent a message but we do not trust themSaleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), spoke about the latest developments in the occupied territories in a statement broadcast on Al-Aqsa TV on Thursday evening.

According to Al-Mayadin, Saleh al-Arouri first reported that Tel Aviv had sent a message to the Palestinian resistance through mediation, stating that it would not allow settlers to sacrifice in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Arouri added:
Do not trust the promises of the occupiers. We trust the strength of our people and their resistance in the face of them. The culmination of the attacks that the occupiers planned was the sacrifice on the grounds of Al-Aqsa Mosque, so our nation stood up wherever they were, especially in Al-Quds and the areas of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The deputy head of Hamas' political bureau also offered his condolences to the families of the Palestinian martyrs whose children were martyred during the holy month of Ramadan. He further emphasized:
Our nation is in a state of constant readiness to face the occupiers. They are the faithful guardians of this ideal, holiness and sanctity. Our people were attacked everywhere and everywhere, and we witnessed the attacks of the occupiers in embryos and slavery.

Noting that the Palestinian resistance announced a general mobilization on Wednesday night, Saleh al-Arouri also announced that in the next few days, resistance groups would hold another meeting in Lebanon to protect Jerusalem and its sanctuaries.

He emphasized:
The protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque is a national and religious obligation of all our people and ummah. The occupiers will retreat only when our nation and our resistance stand up to defend the sacred. We told the mediators that we did not trust the promises of the occupiers. If we had trusted, we would have lost Al-Aqsa much earlier. We told them that not a single hair of ours would be shaken by the threats of the occupiers. They should know that the issue of Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, is the issue of the whole nation.
