Tehran, YJC. Following a terror blast in Sana'a which caused damage to the house of Iran’s ambassador to Yemen on Wednesday, Yemeni charge d'affaires in Tehran was summoned to Foreign Ministry later in the day.

Head the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Department of Media Diplomacy conveyed Iran's strong protest to the Yemeni government over the failure of the government of Sana'a to efficiently protect diplomatic missions of Iran in Yemen.

The Foreign Ministry urged the Yemeni government to take decisive action to bring to justice the terrorists responsible for the attacks.

Iran also sought assurance from Sana'a government that such acts of terror would never happen again.
