Democrat senator warns of Republican dominance in CongressWith more than six months to go before the midterm elections, a senior Democratic senator and party candidate has spoken out about the possibility of a Republican victory in the 2020 presidential primary.

On November 8, 2022, midterm congressional elections are scheduled to elect all 435 members of the US House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 members of the US Senate.

According to the Hill website, Elizabeth Warren, a Democratic senator from the state of Massachusetts, warned in an interview with the "Cyanan" network on Sunday (yesterday) that if the Democratic Party fails to fulfill its promises to the voters before the midterm elections. The party will lose the midterm elections.

She, who was one of the Democratic Party candidates in the 2020 presidential election, emphasized in this interview:
If Democratic lawmakers fail to pass more legislation in Congress and advance the legislative priorities promised to voters, they will "fail" in midterm elections.

The host of the "Cyanan" network asked the senior senator, "Can resorting to the current achievements of the Democratic Party since Joe Biden won the election be a good strategy to win the upcoming elections?"

Elizabeth Warren replied:
"Obviously I'm very happy to talk about what we have done and I think the president (Joe Biden) deserves real credit, but that is not enough."

The senior Democratic senator of Congress continued:
We have less than 200 days until the election, and American families are being hurt. As long as we are here (in Congress) the majority, our job is to work on behalf of those families, and that means to make the government work for them.

The Massachusetts representative in the US Senate calls for an end to the sharp rise in prices for goods and services, the fight against corruption in Washington DC and the cancellation of the debts of American students.

She said to Siwan:
There is a lot we can do and if we do it in the next 200 days, we will be in good shape. This is what democracy is about. We have to present to the people what we have done, but we have to do it.
