Monday, 2 May 2022 (YJC)_ Iran ranks 5th in the world in the field of nanoscience, according to a new study.
A new study compares countries and science and tech institutes based on a new indicator, which is “focusing on the emerging areas of technology”, which gives 5th position in the world to Iran.
Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari announced this news while adding that “Iran not only ranks fifth in the world in terms of producing nanoscience, but it has given the highest-level focus to the most advanced fields of science and technology.”
The study cited China in the first place, which is followed by the United States, South Korea, India and Iran.
“In 2021 Iran has exported nanotechnology products to 49 countries,” according to Sattari.
