Friday, 6 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Russian Senate has warned that no country can surprise Moscow, and warns that militant tendencies against it will not go unanswered.

Russian Senate Speaker: We respond to any militancyThe head of the Russian Federation Council (Senate) Valentina Matvinko warned today (Friday) that Moscow will respond to any militant action against it.

Speaking at the Senate, Matvinko said that no one's aggressive and militant intentions towards Russia would go unnoticed.

According to the RIA Novosti website, he explained:
The Russian armed forces are by no means inferior to and even superior to the best armies in the world. We are talking about the professional training of military personnel and the quality of weapons and military equipment, the ability to use them.

The Russian senator stressed:
No one can surprise us. No one can expect his aggressive intentions about our country to remain without consequences.

According to Matvinko, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is convincing evidence that the Russian military is rescuing not only its own country, but all of humanity from the threat of Nazism and radical nationalism.

According to the report, he stated:
Russia does not need others for its superiority and does not view all countries and peoples of the world as enemies. Therefore, in Ukraine today, Russian soldiers and army officers are doing everything possible to prevent the death of civilians.

The Speaker of the Russian Senate continued:
As we can see, all the humanity of a Russian soul is with us now. As our great writer Fyodor Dostoevsky said, they (Russian humanity and sacrifice) have not disappeared and are with us now. They are in the most cultural and moral laws of the Russian people.

According to RIA Novosti, Matvinko also added:
We can only hope that Europe continues to find new humanists, and that there is no need for another global massacre.
