Monday, 16 May 2022 (YJC)_ Ayatollah Seyyed Abdullah Fateminia died this morning after a period of illness.
Ayatollah Fatemi Nia's Instagram page confirmed the news of his death in a post.
Fateminia has been suffering from cancer since February 2017 and was admitted to the intensive care unit in April this year.
Ayatollah Seyyed Abdullah Fateminia was born in 1325 in Tabriz. As a child, he was religiously and scientifically educated by his father (Mirasmail), who was one of the mystical scholars. Then he studied with Hassan Mostafavi (one of the students of the late Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Ghazi) for nearly 30 years and was educated by him and at the same time pursued his seminary education. After Mostafavi, he used scholars such as Allameh Tabatabai, Seyyed Mohammad Hassan Elahi Tabatabai (younger brother of Allameh Tabatabai), Mohammad Taghi Amoli, Seyyed Reza Bahauddin, Mohammad Taghi Behjat, Allameh Jafari and… most of whom were students of Ayatollah Ghazi the Great in Islamic sciences and mysticism. . Hence, he is one of the students of Seyyed Ali Ghazi through an intermediary.
