Monday, 13 June 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman blasted the International Atomic Energy Agency’s politicized resolution against Tehran.
Addressing his weekly press briefing on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh blasted the International Atomic Energy Agency’s politicized resolution against Tehran.
“This non-technical political action will by no means remain unanswered, we will be decisive and proportionate,” he said.
He went on to call the anti-Iran resolution issued at the IAEA's Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency as biased and politicized and said “it disrupted the path of cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.”
Referring to the recent trip by Grossi to Israel, he noted “as any other non-diplomatic move, the message of the trip is as clear, he met the wrong people at the wrong time and place. We have given the answer and we hope that the procedure will be corrected”
Also today, 260 Iranian lawmakers condemned the recent resolution issued by the agency and show their support for reciprocal moves against it.
In a meeting of the IAEA’s Board of Governors an anti-Iran resolution, drafted by Britain, France, Germany, and the US has been approved.
