The Wednesday bilateral negotiations of Geneva are held at the ministerial level, headed by US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
The talks are to proceed tomorrow at the deputy foreign minister level.
Iranian FM spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham has confirmed that Zarif is going to have meetings with other members of 5+1 in Europe.
"Mr. Zarif intends to make the best use of his time in Geneva and Europe by holding consultations on the latest updates on the nuclear negotiations with other members of group 5+1 at higher levels.”
She further added that the subsequent meetings’ timetable will be disclosed at the end of each round of talks.
This makes the 2nd round of talks after the 7-month extension of a temporary agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the sextet. Negotiators hope to reach a preliminary deal by March and a comprehensive agreement by June 30.
