Tehran, YJC. The Iranian Red Crescent Society has announed that a helicopter which crashed yesterday belonged to the organization.
CEO of the Iranian Helicopters Logistics and Renovation Company Brigadier General Ahmad Abadi has said that the fallen helicopter belonged to the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
The helicopter crashed into rocks while performing rescue drills for the Crisisi Management Staff, he said.
Early reports claimed the aircraft belonged to Iran's armed forces.
The official added that all three on board the hellicopter were killed.
The incident occured around Emamzadeh Ebrahim in Darband, northern Tehran.
