Tehran, YJC. Velayati has reiterated Leader's word on the new year's agenda.

Aliakbar Velayati, consultant to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and head of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Discernment Council, has said that the Iranian nation and government should join hands to make the country thrive.
'This year is one in which people should be more cooperative toward the government, since if people do not help the government for economic growth, the country will face problems.'
in interview with the Young Journalists' Club, he referred to the Supreme Leader's nomination of the new Iranian year as one of people-government unification and said that the two need to grow closer.
The government in return must accompany the people, he stated, adding 'Of such accompaniment one can cite more services as an example. The government should consider people parts of its own being.'
'People should also feel the government of their own. This is not the first time that the Supreme Leader reiterates that people own the job.'
