An Iranian teacher and artist Parviz Hajiyan who has invented ‘Town of Alphabet’ educational method has been nominated for the Nobel prize for teaching.

UK-based Global Teacher Prize has selected the 50 nominees after one year studies and evaluation.

The center has announced it picks people of innovation and creativity who try to boost global citizen, teach in remote areas, take part in social activities, influence people, work to remove work violence and educate other teachers, women and children.

The ceremony to grant the noble prize is scheduled to be held in Dubai in March.

10 teachers would be picked as the best ones and one as the top teacher in the world.
