Iran said its missile test is not in contradiction with any of Tehran’s international commitments.
FM Spokesman: Missile test not contradicting Iran’s int’l commitments"We believe that British participation in providing weapons for certain regional countries to attack defenseless Yemenis is an apparent example of destabilizing actions in the region,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.

His remarks came after British Minister for the Middle East Tobias Ellwood’s comments on Iran’s missile test.

"As it has been mentioned frequently, missile test of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been in line with the country’s defense programs and is not violating any of our country’s international commitments,” he added.

He noted that Iran’s fundamental policy in the region is establishing and strengthening stability, and Iran has done its utmost to improve security and stability in its cooperation with regional states.

The Iranian official said that regional stability should be created and improved by regional countries, and that presence of foreign forces in the Middle East is the root of many instabilities and unrest.
