Iran, Hungary ink MoU on nuclear cooperation
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The MoU was inked by Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi and Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen here in Tehran.

The two sides are going to work on designing small nuclear power plants.

Semjen heading a delegation arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Saturday evening to confer issues of mutual interest with Iranian officials.

The Hungarian deputy prime minister was welcomed at the Imam Khomeini International Airport upon arrival.

Deputy Speaker of Hungarian parliament Janos Latorcai and a number of Hungary’s political and economic figures accompany Semjen during his trip to Tehran.

The Hungarian delegation is expected to meet with the Iranian Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Hosseinali Amiri and a number of government and parliament officials.

The Hungarian delegation will visit some Iranian provinces during their one-week stay in Iran.

The visit has been planned to boost bilateral ties between the two countries in various fields including oil, parliament and tourism.

Exploring ways of execution of agreements inked during the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's visit to Iran in 2015 is another topic for discussion between the visiting Hungarian delegation and the Iranian officials.
