The former Managing Editor for Hamshahri magazine addressed the possibilities of introducing Nikzad as the governmental wing’s final choice for presidency in case Mashaee is disqualified as "Nikzad has too many problems to be successful in the presidentials. He has neither Ahmadinejad’s intrinsic capabilities and idiosyncratic media personality nor an acceptable political stand. Neither is there a public image of his executive and managerial capabilities.”
He then provided comments on the governmental wing’s alternative representative and said "Of course there is the possibility to endorse a candidate from outside of the government where individuals such as Chamran are mentioned.”
