Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that the US and Zionist Regim has supported ISIS terrorist who carried out the June 7 dual attacks on Majlis (Iran’s Parliament) and Imam Khomeini shrine.
"We have accurate intelligence that unfortunately Saudi Arabia, supporting the terrorists, had asked them to carry out the operations in Iran” he added.
At least 17 people were killed and 52 others injured in Tehran on Wednesday when gunmen mounted almost simultaneous assaults on Iran’s Parliament and the Mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini. 5 Deash terrorists also were killed.
The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks. Prior to the attacks, Saudi defense minister, Mohammad bin Salman, threatened to take the battle inside Iran’s territory. Saudi officials however have denied any role in the attacks on Tehran.
