Tehran, YJC. Iran has made agreements with 6 African countries to build oil refineries with capacities of approximately 20,000-bbl.
Head of the Iranian Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Products
Exporters Association said in interview with Mehr News Agency that agreements
are made with 6 African countries for building small refineries.
Hassan Khosrojerdi added that all the refineries come in
capacities of 20,000 bbl or less.
He also pointed to the Khajenafs Port refinery to be
constructed in Golestan province and added that gas condensates for the
refinery will be provided via swap contracts with Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
